A Little Poem: "Calico cat sunbathes in the window..."

Calico cat sunbathes in the window.She uses her little nose to push the blindsaway from the frame andsqueezes her body betweenthem and the glassTurning like liquid impossibly in thenarrow space,she lays down and stretches out,white paws reachingto the window’s frameCalico cat closes her eyes.The sunlight pours down untilher fur is hot to the touchand she sleeps peacefully,dazed by the relentlesswarmth.
